Shearing Season Fast Approaching

2/2/2018

Can you believe it is February already?  Shearing season starts next month.  If you still haven't processed your fleeces from last year, we are going to give you a chance to get it done before the rush begins.  Through the month of February, we will process your roving for half price.  Your order must be paid in full when dropped off.   The half price special is for roving only.  This does not include combed top, yarn or knitting services.

We hope this will help you get ready for spring and keep those pesky moths out of your prized fleeces.

Toia has an intense interest in Indigenous Weave Structures.  She received the title Master Ashante Kente Weaver from Adamwomase, Ghana, West Africa in 2009.  At that time, she was the only female, American weaver to achieve the title.  She learned to weave Taanko from a Maori tribe of New Zealand.  It is her goal to help preserve the indigenous structures through video and woven cloth.
She is also an Adjunct Professor of Knitwear and Accessory Design at Columbus College of Art & Design.
